Former Town player, Mark Venus who is now assistant to Mogga at Boro, was at the game the other night apparantly looking at Scotland. I think personally that we would be mad to sell him now that he has found some of his old "Swansea form". Scotland and Chops linked well together the other night and we now need to give them time to cement their partnership in a settled team. If we play to Scotland's strengths ie playing passes to feet and not just humping high balls up to him I think he will get us 15-20 goals this season. Is that worth giving up for a poxy £750K?

I hope PJ turns any offer down as I think Scotland will prove his worth for us this year and we should even be thinking about extending his contract after this season. We are crying out for a settled team with players knowing their jobs and being left to get on with it instead of all this chopping and changing!

Keep him I say, what do you think?

Well he's finally starting to click, so we've come out and said he's available at the right price.

Rather laughable in all honesty, if I was Boro I'd be straight in !

Apparently we'd consider loan with a view to a permanent transfer, if thats the case, we have zero ambition this season.

    I agree Westy!

Scotland is just starting to show what a good player he is and now we are thinking about loaning him out! I mean they can take Priskin and I will drive him up there myself!

If a deal for Scotland happens I will be as MAD AS HELL!!! <grr><grr><grr>

I agree with all that's been said on here. However my understanding is that when we were looking to sell him was during the transfer window and he was not in PJs plans. Since then Scotland has found form, been playing regularly and I've heard nothing but praise for him from PJ so surely he has reconsidered his stance and wants to keep him. We keep on being told we don't need the money so why sell our inform players on the cheap!!

Would have taken £3.50 for him a while back but we kept him. Now the guy has shown some drive, determination and effort we look to offload him. Bloody stupid !
