If Schwarzer is injured as he can't do goal kicks, he can't possible travel for Australia's International.
Give him the two weeks rest to recover.

Talking of injuries I wonder who Pullis will target when we play them next.
Two seasons ago against Stoke Zamora, Dempsey and Johnson were given the treatment.
Last year it was Dembele, we normally end up with a player out for months.

Andy Wilkinson, whos the fella that could have broken dembele's leg last season was at it again against swansea yesterday. Very lucky not to have been sent off for what I thought was a pretty shocking tackle on Nathan Dyer.

He should have been sent off. Frankly he should be playing rugby and not football.

... then there's Karl Henry, the Wolves hitman who broke BZ's leg last year. World-class hack.

Super Bri - you're right about Stoke and Pullis. This year they'll be after Dempsey or Zamora again.

In professional hockey, there's a player on each team designated as "the enforcer". We need someone like that for Fulham when we go up against teams like Stoke, Blackburn and Wolves. When a player on the opposing side goes into a hard, studs-up tackle against your best player, your enforcer goes after their best player in kind. Sure you lose your player to a red card every once in a while, but teams will learn that they'll pay for their for their sins.

The point is that both Wilkinson and Henry are not critical for their teams... Both Sidwell and Kasami can tackle hard.

I liked the comments from Barton on Henry. Real class!!!

Shhhh. Let's not start another board war with Stoke fans. I had enough of the bombardment of hostile postings from them and Wolves last year.

Back to the original title - Mark S went off during the warm-up, and I was half-surprised to see him start the first half. Still he made a couple of good saves when it counted.

Aye Captain, let's keep the risk of our board being innundated with silly postings.

keep it positive folks! I am sure it will be a good game against Stoke, they've improved a lot it seems?
Also, Schwarzer should not travel if he's got a knock. He has been outstanding so far this season and 2 weeks to recover would be a good thing for us.

He's pulled out of the Aussie squad - would have been 2 matches; Malaysia on Friday and Oman on Tuesday. Bet he's glad to get his feet up rather than all the travelling.

What about our England call ups though - Stockdale I suppose was expected but what great news for Bobby.

This. Stoke were bitter about being beaten at home by us and Wolves didn't like Murphy saying what everyone was thinking - we don't any more of their bollocks, the QPR lot is bad enough.

To be fair Stoke and Wolves look to have genuinely improved and have shown ambition this season, especially in the transfer market.

We did have some idiots on the board this week but also some sensible posts from the QPR lot. I thought it made a nice change - we don't get many visitors, and it might be 10 years till we get to speak to them again !
