Although watching from lower school end is not ideal I will never forget the sight of all visible stands arising as one after cisse s goal. A great sight accompanied by a wall of noise a mixture of relief disbelief and celebration. Hugged by there strangers and turned back just in time to see cisse mid somersault miles in the air. It must have been an optical illusion or an euphoric vision but he actually looked like he was as high as the upper loft. Phenomenal. Time for a lie down.
I've seen 3 matches from there now. It is great for the near goal, but I lose perspective for the far end. Didn't really see Cisse's shot go in, just assumed as much!!! What did you think of the view Norway?
Must have looked awesome mate and I love the description of a "wall of noise". We certainly went wild in S block!!
Absolutely brilliant in x block with their poor turnout, all game giving us the "you're going down and 2-0 to Bolton " songs
Can't complain as it was like I expected, but it ain't optimal let me put it that way. Agree very much with both your and the OP's account of it. We went absolute mental when Cisse scored! Think I threw my son two feet up in the air when it went in, after that everything is a blur, no voice and a sore body must be a sign of a perfect day at HQ though
it was a pretty ****e game so I don't think they'll show too much. Just want to see the goal and re-live that moment!! We went insane!!!
Looks like we're fifth, after both mancs, villa and Bolton. http://www.tvguide.co.uk/titlesearch.asp?title=Match of the Day
I don't get to too many a year. But I sure picked the right two this season for pure drama, first Liverpool and then today. It wasn't a game for purists, but it sure was worth the wait in the end.
Not the School End but I was in the front row of Block CL (Paddocks) and it was brilliant - love how we all hug total strangers after scoring and the final whistle. Also love how I was able to pass the news on that West Brom had equalised with Bolton as I had my headphones in listening to Five Live The atmosphere in the Coningham Arms pub afterwards was great too! I'm so glad it's a Bank Holiday tomorrow... going to need the day to recover!
