    Paul Scholes - 700th appearance.

    Rio Ferdinand - 400th appearance.

Ryan Giggs - 600th Premier League appearance.

All 3 could hit these records this weekend v Wigan. Fantastic achievements for all the players. 3 Legends, 3 exceptional servants.

    Scholes is no Gerrard
    Ferdinand is no Carragher
    Giggs is no Downing

    Mind boggling.

Also quite mental that some United fans don't consider Rio a legend. 400 games, a decade here, won everything and arguably the best defender of his generation.

Carragher is not one of the best defenders of his generation, no one would argue with that

I rate Rio very highly and when we have been without him our defence hasnt been the same. We are talking about one of the worlds best defenders of the recent era and one of the few English defenders who were considered footballers rather than thugs.

Rio upped the game for defending in England and at one point we were by far the best country in the world for defenders ( not all english but the importance of defending )

Have we yet really replaced them?
None of them can be relied on to complete a full season, yet we still rejoice when they are in the starting line-up.

Rio completed the better part of a full season last season.

Scholes improved us massively on his return.

Giggs, yeh hes a bit part player but hes been here since 1991. If he had had kids at 16-20 they could of been playing for us along siude their dad ffs <laugh>

This isnt about them being in the starting line up. I expect Rio will be, Scholes has a chance but unlikely that Giggs will play more than a subs role.

UIR, i don`t expect all three to start myself, but at times each one still looks better than others on the pitch.

Scholes for me is still the one for united. Not sure whether Giggs or Rio can still cut it at the highest level. Scholes performance at Southampton was simply incredible.

Whoever sh1t England manager who ended his England career by playing him out of position has a lot to answer for. England would ave been a totally different team with him in it...

What the **** are you on about, he gave the ball away and more than once left united exposed to a counter attack. Last season he was the cause of a few goals. He did again against Sunderland twice leaving you open by giving the ball away stupidly. Only when Sunderland sat back to try hold what they had did scholes get room to do something. You have no fkn idea about how football is played.

Christiansmith is a totally plastic fan.

Yep the Scholoes can contribute but it is alarming he's your best midfielder, but he is nothing like the scholes of a few years ago.

3 good servants for the club and hopefully all will play a part in today's game so that they can reach their milestones at the same game.
