Is he by any chance related to Morgana la Fey, the powerful sorceress of Arthurian Legend? I think we should be told.
he's like a Quarterback in American Football - sits deep and controls where the ball goes, quality, quality player. When West Ham went down to 10 on tues we saw just how effective he can be with more space/time on the ball, he controlled the game for us, everything went through him... he was just as good today
Now all we need is for all those who don't undestand to at last recognise Guly's contribution to the team.
This! Compared to the FL the amount of time you have on the ball is incredible. Swansea play a tippy tappy style similar to ours (apart from ours is of course much better) and you can see their possession stats.
He was great against Birmingham and Burnley too. His talent has never been in doubt, and a run in the team in the middle has definately benefited him. Yesterday he was superb. Always in the right position.
I wouldn't really say it's incredible, I for one haven't yet had the experience of meeting somebody born between 20th February 1989 and 19th February 1990 who isn't 22 years old...
I think everyone knows I meant that it is incredible that he is so good yet still so young. Personally I just post to get into discussions and not to point out the 'faults' in other peoples posts!
He's someone who plays well when the entire team does, but is very average when Saints in general are playing badly.
You've got it the wrong way round lad - When Morgan plays well, the team play well. When he doesn't play as well, neither do the rest of them.
As a long term francophile I have had a France shirt since 1998. Last summer I bought a new one with 4 Schneiderlin printed on the back. "Qui?" ask my French friends. "Attendez" I reply. He will play for France and Saints fans will love it. He is only 22, and has the potential to be one of the greatest players ever to pull on that striped shirt. Got to add, yeah, I agree about Guly too. OMG, we have such great players right now.
Yes. Can't remember who was in CM for United that day (anderson and Fletcher?) but they were made to look very very average. He's only surpassed that performance once against Palace on Boxing Day where he was simply imperious.
