View attachment 21156 11:00 am. Youtube.com/sauberf1team Esteban and the Hulk take this beast to the track in March, any thoughts on this picture? Vanity panel for sure.
Do you think there's ever one team who watch the others unveil their car and think "shhhhhiittttttt" before going back and redrawing and designing their efforts? They seem to look very close before any testing is ever completed.
Lol, I remember I had the same mentality when doing speeches and assignments in high school; I'd see others perform their speeches or hand in their assessment tasks and think " Well I've still got a few minutes before I have to hand mine in!" <starts scribbling furiously>
Well I like what I see so far. The livery gives it a more exciting look than last year's had. Obviously, a vanity panel is this year's must-have! I have high hopes for Hulk this year so this car had better deliver; at least it looks like it means business.
It looks beautiful, better than the Mercedes livery for last year. But I am not sure this is the proper one for Sauber. I hope they can deliver for Nico also.
Yes. At least: 'yes' to the first half of your sentence! As far as "redrawing and redesigning their efforts" is concerned; with launches imminent, it is now obviously too late an hour to beat the deadline; but you can be sure that some designers will be going straight back to the drawing board to study each other's efforts, for future tweaking. This circus never stops!
I love the livery. Car looks similar to last year's; it is quite a conservative (read:flat) design compared to some of those revealed thus far.
Thats a photoshop of the C31. The shape will probably be similar though. Would like to see the back of the bland white.
Yes, it would have been more distinctive. Another niggle: why can't they pronounce Esteban properly? With all the Mexican money in the team, you'd think they'd make the effort. Still, they couldn't get Sergio Pérez's name right either. But anyway, I'm quite excited. I hope Gutiérrez doesn't disappoint, I have no doubts about Hulk.
I've never liked the livery from the last few years so this is actually quite a welcome surprise, I didn't expect as much of a change Also, JC is right about the photoshopped F1F livery. I saw the exact same photo a year ago and a few others: please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Yes it does look near identical to their 2010 livery. Good to see a change but as others have said it would be better with the blue. The drivers' overalls look a bit messy as well. Anyway it will be very interesting to see how Sauber fare this year - I think it is a very important season for them.
Hulk's new helmet, seems to change it to fit with the colours of the team he's with but styling seems to remain the same. please log in to view this image
