McCulloch incident - Never a penalty. 3 players made an effort to jump for the ball, and McCulloch fell on his arse. Saying that, it definitely wasn't simulation either. Hearts penalty - Happens 10 times in every match, and doesn't get given. There are 2 key reasons why this one was given (and it's not been the 1st for the offence of holding in the box at a set piece recently either) - 1st up, Goian was warned before the corner was taken not do it by the referee. He continued to do it, so the penalty was given. 2nd - All referees have been instructed to be more severe on pulling and pushing in the box by UEFA, as FIFA have pinpointed it as something they will be focusing on in the Euro's in the summer. As for Black - He's a dirty, dirty bastard who should probably be red carded in about 50% of the games he plays. To boo a guy for going on 60 odd minutes, and then complain when he does the "shhh" sign after scoring though, smacks of double standards. The reality is, some refs would have booked him for it, some wouldn't. In this case, it was the latter.
I haven't actually seen that myself. But if it is along the styles of the Beckham one, then it will either be in the ref's report with an explanation (doubt it, cos it would be feckin hard to justify no action) or the disciplinary panel will review it. (most likely)
If aluko had went down like a ton of bricks (which he might of done if he hadnt been involved in dive-gate) then I'm pretty sure Black would have walked
thems the breaks Trev, thems the breaks. you make your own luck in this game. RFC know that more than anyone.
Can't find a clip of it anywhere, so I can't give my own opinion. But if it's that obvious, Crawford will get roasted by the referee's performance review.
Rangers fans are funny , they come out of Ibrox , saying this has happened , denied stonewall penalties , opponents should have been sent off . The minute the highlights appear none of their these incidents have actually happened .I think it's playing to different rules for 139 years that gets them easily confused . Now they can't afford to pay the refs off , I doubt they will ever make the top 6 again .
