keeper will probably be Marshall.Bit of a foregone conclusion now I suppose. The only probable change will be the re-introduction of Miller.

Around this time last season we played at the New Den,gaining a point from a physical set up but should have come away with all three.A howler from Steven Bypass in goal gifted Steve Morison an easy finish to level the score.

I make no apology for banging the Earnie drum over the past few games but maybe I should be blowing the Heaton bugle considering how many goals we've conceded recently.Anyone else think a change is as good as a rest?

Actually does our lack of squad rotation make it easier for opposition managers to plan their tactics leading up to games much earlier?

Couldn't agree more Bob. Yes Miller will be back thus leaving us without a goalscorer, and we'll be as predictable as ever.
Time to shake things up a bit.

Sorry guys but I will keep banging my drum about us not having much to shake.

    Who can come in?

Heaton for Marshall - the latter had a point saving performance at Brum so hard to drop him despite the fact that he should have saved Cov's equaliser.

Darcy for McNuggs or any of the back 4 - again after the Brum game tough to drop anyone and McNuggs seems to be regaining his form. Taylor is the only real candidate but Darcy is not a natural left back.

Gerrard for either of the 2 cb's - really?

Kiss in midfield - more bite certainly but does he have the ball skills we need? Possibly a replacement for Lawrence.

    Ralls - where is he?

Conway - the one change I am in favour of as he will run at defenders and ask them questions but he must have pi$$ed off Malky big time not to have even got on the bench last week. If we are going to attack more then I would have him in for Lawrence.

Gestede - depends on the formation played. If we go 4 4 2 then he would be in alongside Miller but more likely to be kept as a super sub for later in the game.

Earnie - not a starter unless we go 4 4 2 then could play instead of Miller. But, in my view, Kenny fits the system better as he can hold the ball and play people in. Not skills of Earnie who is really little more than a box striker. Again can come off the bench to do a job but not a starter for me.

So there we have it, in reality how much can Malky afford to change. However, I think Don is looking very tired and has no pace to do a wide job. Conway for him is an alternative but that leaves a not so mobile midfield of McPhail, Whitts and Lawrence.

Malky was asked about Ralls and Harris in the pre match interview. He basically said both are for the future and with an almost fully fit squad wont be in contention. It would be a different if we had nothing to go for.... make of that what you will.

We can probably expect the same starting XI tomorrow with the exception of Miller starting up front

I'd put Conway in over Lawrence. I haven't been overly impressed but saying that, when I have seen him the whole team haven't played well so maybe a little unfair.

Did he talk about formations H? From what you say in your post it doesn't sound like there will be a change.

I would love to think that changes would be forced on the squad as a result off a more positive set up.

Conway in to provide more width. 2 or even 3 up front with Earnie getting a decent run instead off the odd 10/15 minutes. I love Super Kev but I think Darcy deserves a go and Kev a "REST" as they say. Heaton defo should have been given a chance in the last few games. In my opinion I would love to see us have a right go at millwall.

    ----------------------------------------Heaton-----------------------------------------
    Darcy-------------------Hudson-------------------Turner------------------------Taylor

    Whittingham------------------------Mcphail--------------------------------------Conway
    -------------------------------------------Gunner--------------------------------------
    -----------------------Earnie-----------------------------------------------------------
    -------------------------------------Gastede-------------------------------------------

    1 Marshell
    2 Mcnaughton
    3 Cowie
    4 Mason
    5 Miller

And don’t be afraid to chuck on both Mason and Miller for a defender and go for it if they are just sitting back.

Siam, nothing about formations. A lot of stuff about the fans, fixtures etc but not much about tomorrow. Saying that, he wasn't asked the questions to give the answers... classic reporting <doh>
My assumption is purely based on lack of info and the fact Miller is now fit again.
