I know I will get slated for it but how about playing Lambert in the hole. He often drifts out wide and his link up play is great it would help us intergrate our midfield more and would give the burnley defence a different challenge in picking up Lambert as he drifts into the box. Just a thought that we could try at some point remember he started out as a midfielder.
I can see your point but several times last night, balls that were crossed in to the box Lambert would have been on end off but he wasn't there. Because he was playing in that position (in the hole). He's doing an amazing job for us up front scoring goals and that's where you need him!
