Lethal Force looks another bookie horse to me, ive got a line through him and Society Rock on the basis that they are both single figures. They have home advantage but Shea Shea is for me the only true international Group 1 sprinter in the race, maybe Sole Power but you seen what Shea Shea done to him twice in Dubai. Krypton Factor has never reproduced that Golden Shaheen run.
Society Rock for me in the July cup. I feel Fallon did not give him a great ride at Ascot and that he will make no such mistakes this time. By the time he was asked to close on Lethal force at Ascot he was lengths behind. Great racing today, no winners as of yet but really good racing.
Neil Callan can't be described as a top jockey, but drawn 16 of 20 he dropped Redvers out and switched to the centre, letting all the other high drawn horses go on to make the frame
No complaints with that, Fallon had him closer up at the furlong pole today as most thought he should have at Ascot and still got beat. Good performance and a new track record for the winner.
The Champ always delivers when the confidence is high and the punting pants are on. BANK IT PILGRIMS Best value bet since CAUCAS last Saturday.
Battle of Marengo, Flintshire and Ocovango lock horns in the Grand Prix De Paris later on. No one's mentioned it. BOM is 7/2 third fav which definitely undervalued his chances having beaten Ocovango in the Derby. Flintshire is 7/4 favourite. One to watch with interest.
Lumping Perhers Moon in the last. Hughes seems ultra confident on his RP column and I've had a big day so there's a few pennies to risk.
Well done BostonBob about Lethal Force - I don't know what I was thinking about with Gale force Ten! Anyway today was all about Aljaamaheer for me. That obliged and another decent profit on the day. Beer time!
Bleeding second to a very good Fallon ride. If Hughesie had the rail I think it would have been a different result but Fallon was clever and grabbed it and made Hughes stay on his outside. Well done Fallon.
Well done Steve with Aljamaheer. I thought the same. Expected him to win but couldn't bring myself to back him.
Have taken the 7/2 about BOM but gone each way. Think he's a place cert with a very good chance of winning. Flintshire could be genuine group one class so may be too good which is why I'm taking the insurance.
fair play to Lethal Force, improved a lot this year, think Shea Shea is just a flat track bully, will give him another chance in the Abbeye if the ground is decent. Hamilton 6.40 Inciting Incident 10/1
