I really hate to say this, but ethnicity aside, Leicester is pretty much the same city as Hull. It's grimey in the middle, has a few council estates on the outskirts and some beautiful surrounding countryside. I live in the city centre, as I'm still studying at DMU, but the road I live on is alright. Sorry, don't want this thread to go off topic but that chant really wouldn't make much sense. Now, "You're just a town full of ****ers", that would certainly fit the bill.
Apart from the beautiful old town, the marina, the docks, fish and chips, decent shopping centres and the quality football team I'd say its just like Hull ;-)

Yes, and they don't know what Rugby league is here....Leicester has an old town, it strangley has an RNLI branch even though it's 100 miles each way to the sea. Fish and Chips are ****e. The shopping experience here is much better, sadly. There are a lot of high street shops and the Highcross shopping centre is brilliant. Oh yeah, and the football team here is ****e as well. That aside, pretty much the same
Actually think Hull has loads of decent shops.. its a good place to go just lately.. i've been to other cities and frankly the city centres have been ****ing appalling
From football365: Nigel Pearson walked back into the Leicester job and admitted the only ingredient missing at the King Power Stadium is top-flight football. The new Foxes boss was unveiled to the media on Wednesday afternoon having been appointed last night, completing close to two weeks of negotiations with Hull - whom Pearson joined 17 months ago having walked away from the previous City regime. The upbeat 48-year-old, who preferred to look forward and not dwell on his previous departure, admitted the move back to Leicestershire - under now chairman Vichai Raksriaksorn - came as a surprise but also that he was happy to return. "The last 12 days have felt longer than that if I'm being perfectly honest," he said. "It's good to be back now, I'm glad it's been resolved and hopefully we can move forward." He added: "I'm delighted to be back here. I like positive pressure, I don't feel the fact that expectations are high interfere with how I work, I get a very positive feel for the place." Pearson can certainly expect to find himself under pressure at Leicester where expectation comes as part of the package. In his previous stint as Foxes boss, he guided the club to the League One title in 2009 and the Championship play-off semi-finals the following year, losing to Cardiff on penalties. But the burden of expectation has increased since the club's takeover by Thai-based consortium Asia Football Investments in August 2010. Pearson's predecessor Sven-Goran Eriksson was sacked last month with the club two points off the play-off places, with the Swede having taken City from near the foot of the second tier when he took over and being given in the region of £12million to spend in the summer. Pearson said: "I'm always confident in my ability and certainly the support staff, I know I'll have the backing of the board and I know how keen they are for the club to be successful. "It's a big club with huge potential, the missing ingredient at the moment is our status in terms of being in the Premier League." The average managerial lifespan in the Championship is the lowest of any division in England at just under a year, compared to three and a half years back in 1992. Pearson - who has penned a two-and-a-half year contract - is fully aware of the expectation levels and shares the ambition of the club's board. Vice-chairman Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn believes the club have the right man in charge to bring top-flight football back to Leicester. "I don't have any timescale for promotion but of course my ambition is still the same and I want the team to gain promotion," he said. "I will support him with everything I can." Raksriaksorn added: "He has everything the board needs - passion, he can motivate players, staff and fans as well. "I believe in him and I think we have chosen the right person. IMO. just ignore the man. he will be expecting something not very nice. the best way to get back at him is watch Barmbys kids destroy NP mercenaries and then rub it in with chants of """getting sacked in may"" or ""whats the score nigel whats the score ?"" . whilst its still 0-0 winding someone up can bite you on the bum.

I always remember Ibra lining up for Milan for the first time against Inter and instead of booing or jeering him the Interisti just completely ignored him. They jeered every other Milan player but silence when he touched the ball. It annoyed him more than the abuse ever could. Just an idea.

3 points off Leicester will do nicely as a way of sticking the fingers up at NP. I have a feeling the more interesting chants will appear at the return game at Leicester in March!
