It's in the ET. Also worries over Hooper as well.

Is Commons fit? Paddy played against Peterhead but didn't make much of an impact.

Brown might play on the right - Ledley left, Wanyama and Ki in the middle.

Paddy made the first goal with a ball to Sammy I thought he done alright. Start Paddy and switch him with Commons if Hooper's fit. If Hooper doesn't make it Commons should start so we have more goals in the team.

Keep in mind we were playing the 2nd worst team in Scotland. I thought it was a good opportunity to put himself in the shop window and get himself a move.

Wanyama got the young player of the month award today along with the now obligatory Neil Lennon manager of the month award. <applause>

You always have a great desire to get rid of players. How do you know Paddy wants to be in the shop window.
Everything will be fine if we get rid of a couple of the spare midfielders that you have, Paddy, Sammy and a couple or
    three centre backs.
It will be easier to pick the team as there will be less options.

SH, paddy needs to move for the sake of his career. i would love to see him stay but he is 27/28 and not a regular in the team, there is also no one you could drop for him. he could go somewhere else and become a legend.

For me, any player who is happy to sit on the bench or in the stand week after week doesn't have much pride or belief in his ability.

    <ok>

    Totally agree.

I'm quite happy to see/hear folk like Stokes having a little grumble when being dropped - proof of their hunger to do well for themselves & the club & their passion for the game

Bhoys, I am sorry if you think that people who are prepared not to be playing regularly don't have much pride or belief in their ability.
That amounts to approximately 50% of the professional footballers in the WEPL , the Championship and the SPL.
No manager would want to go into any season with his squad pared down to 16/18. If Celtic did that we would be going mad it would
be that bas...d Desmond or Lawell's fault. The minimum any Celtic manager would want I would suggest would be approximately 28.
I think you will find Man. Utd City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs have all over 30.
Man City had a suspension and a couple of injuries and their Manager was complaining of not enough players.

I really like Paddy McCourt, I want him to become a legend, but I want him to become a legend at Celtic. I would hate to see him becoming
a legend anywhere else. Paddy, himself said to people I know in his bar, the Rock bar, that he was happy enough with the game time he got
last season and although naturally he would love to play every game, he would be happy enough if he got as much time this season.
It is hard to judge as he has been injured quite a bit this season.

CU have a good chat about Patrick this week.

I am with Bib on the midfield. Does anyone think that young "Bob" Dylan McGeough should get a start?

I'm one of Paddy's biggest fan's, but his performance at Peterhead was very lacklustre.

Why a guy who had been told to go do damage to the other side, insisted on playing 10 yards behind his own midfield for 90% of the match, is beyond me.

Would be Brown, Ki, Wanyama and Ledley for me. Although I have a sneaking suspicion that Sammy will play wide left and Joe will play in the centre in place of Dave.
