According to the press, Clarke has said he expects to know by the end of this week, what the decision from Santos will be with regards to the new contract offer. Clarke wants it resolved by the time the players return to training on 30th June (next Monday). Clarke said: "Alefe hasn't signed his deal yet, but I would expect that to be resolved one way or the other by the end of the week. The offer made to Alefe at the end of the season is what it is and that will not be increased. It is now up to Alefe to make his mind up on it either way." Rovers, however, would be entitled to some form of compensation if Santos turns down the deal in favour of a move elsewhere due to the rules and regulations covering homegrown players under the age of 24. http://www.westerndailypress.co.uk/...-Santos-week/story-21280786-detail/story.html
well if we play with wingers, we need at least 2 so having gosling wont stop santos playing. wonder what advice he is getting from his agent!
I'm not his biggest fan based on what I've heard about him off the pitch and his lack of any kind of contribution on the pitch! No physical ability at all and one goal in 30 odd appearances isn't good enough.
