Is thid a ****ing pisdtake? 1 the op posts some ****e in ****ing frog or spik language. 2 hes ****ing ****
A beautiful maverick. Capable of brilliance or chaos within a single heartbeat. Think we'll move him on for a nominal fee to a team abroad. Think hed actually be pretty good in Serie A
He was way off the pace at times but his skills were really unerring - against Chelsea & his cool nutmeg - BSA may decide he can mould him as he now has experience of the European game to back up & a small amount of prem experience ....we don't want to be too hasty to judge him ..... leave it to sam
I've made my judgement, thanks, he played enough games for us for me to be able to judge. I think he's ****. Just not cut out for the PL at all. Not quick or strong enough for it, unfortunately.
Yes I don't disagree more my hopeful punt that he comes back more up to speed to match his skills which may be because if he doesn't know what he's doing so the opponent ain't got a clue. See what Sam makes of him. More importantly that its onwards and upwards for Sunderland
My abiding memory of Vergini was when, as we had just pulled off an amazing win which I think was against Man United in the cup semi but I don't have a good memory, the players are going wild, the fans are going wild, Poyet's dancing round like a loon, the camera pans to Vergini...and he's got a face like a slapped arse. I was already well aware he was crap but that was the point at which I thought "you know what, **** off".
I seem to remember him being the same during the celebrations when we stopped up against Arsenal under Advocaat!
That's probably what I'm thinking of now you mention it, if you don't have the ability at least have the heart but he has neither.
Only place he would fit into the squad now would be as cover possibly even in midfield, both he and Coates had ability but not the strength required for the premiership, I think Big Sam will move him on tbh.
Do you really consider that to be an attribute (look it up) for a defender You really are a 'one-off' . . . . I hope
