@LawTop20: Sammy needs to get back to Glasgow asap. He needs an MRI scan and I fear the injury is extremely serious. Gutted.

The clubs should take precedence in this kind of thing. Their medics have a longer term relationship with the player and should be able to put a big NO on them playing for the national squad if needed. ****ing ****ey international football.
BigAudioDynamite I agree with you it is really terrible news, as of course big Sammy will be a terrible loss and has been our most consistent and greatest threat up front. There are some bare faced hypocrites on here. This time last year I was ridiculed and laughed at trying to stop the outlandish and often racist comments that some of our fellow posters were making. I just cannot understand the mentality of some of our morons who go over the top with their obnoxious comments one year and then the next pretend that they like and admire his ability. Consistency is not there strong point. It is difficult to believe that they are the same people who posted under their same name last year.

Ligament damage on his left arm, how does this stop him kicking a ball? Put a plaster on it and chuck him out there.
Mick I don't think Neil was too happy with Kayal not continuing t play when he had the bad arm the year before last. I wouldn't be surprise to see Sammy back for the first Champions League game.
