Only six goals when it should've been eight! <grr>

Which eejit suggested Suarez take that penalty? He's the gashiest penalty taker in the world! And isn't it about time Carroll converted those headers? <grr>

    They did good! <applause><applause>

Lol. But still, Carroll should be converting those and Suarez should never be allowed to take a penalty when Gerrard is on the pitch.

Gerrard wasn't on the pitch at the time of the penalty, but Kuyt was - and with his record he should have definitely taken it ahead of Suarez.

Carroll played well, and considering the defenders he was up against were hassling him and bustling him to the ground all the way through the match I think he kept his cool well.

Didn't Adam go to take it before Kenny intervened?

There is nothing worse than giving a player a penalty to take to 'boost their confidence' - 90% of the time they will miss.

Kenny said both Kuyt and Adam were bursting to take it but he wanted Suarez to get a goal in front of the Kop! Fair play to Kenny he said giving Suarez the penalty kick 'what a mistake that was' and 'he didn't need my help to score'!

So we can play a game without all the after-talk being about Suarez.

Really disappointed in the Brighton fans for their Suarez chant as well!!

They were singin Suarez , you know what you are, if thats the worst abuse Luis gets for the rest of the season I will be very happy, he will get a whole lot worse than that

As for not scorin 9/10 I can handle that, its when we score 0/1 when he should score 3/4 I cant handle

In a way Im glad the penalty went to Suarez its shows EVERYONE that KK is 1000% behind Luis AND HAS absolutely no intention off offloading him,so we can put that total bulls**t to bed, although I suspect some people wont, but you should be professional and with Dirks record of 1 miss in about 10, he shudda took it

'Luis Suarez you know what you are'

I was wondering what Poyet thought after him backing Suarez.

Probably wasn't very impressed. It was good to see Luis getting some all-round support last week <ok>

Yeah there will be a whole load of boos and songs going around that we'll have to get used to - Luis just needs to keep doing the business.

Ronaldo got targeted every game he played and ultimately it probably helped him to get to the level he got to as he loved shutting the crowd up. Lets hope Luis can do something similar.

I think these racist related boos are far more reaching than say for diving but Suarez is a scrapper, he grew up very poor with 6 brothers so there's probably not too much that gets to him from the crowd. If Barnes can shut it out, then I'm sure Suarez can with similar results on the pitch.

Be nice for Wembley to resound with singing rather than petty, childish chants!
