Perhaps Appy knew this- and didn't play him that often. Are we to recieve a fee/ players in return ??
Strange one really - he wasn't breaking into the first team for us so will be further down the pecking order at a PL team. As he's a youngster on a contract we should get something for him - perhaps that's how Appy has got enough funding for the 2 new players.
Seems a very strange move, like you say. Maybe he'll get more of a look-in playing regularly for QPR reserves. Credit to the lad if he's moving in order to spend more time on the pitch. You can't begrudge him that opportunity.
His reported move some months ago to Liverpool fell through - perhaps he just wants to try his luck elsewhere, he just doesn't seem to be able to get into the first team here although he is often stated as being a bright star in the academy.
Getting rid of Magri makes it easier for Appleton to cry to the league about how he doesn't have any players.
Oooh - cynical point of view Pieking. I do wonder at this view some fans have that it's okay to put someone somewhere long before they're ready - it wouldn't happen in a normal working situation.
Kieran Djilali has also left, by mutual consent. I thought he was going to do quite well - probably find out more later.

Vague rumours of ex-player Shaun Derry of QPR, returning to Fratton Park, presumably on loan. He will be 35 in December, so plenty of experience in midfield !
If that's true why can't we have Rocha back? Word is that he would come back and within the current budget, but apparently Appy doesn't want him. Although that is just the word but not from any official source.
