Another game, another great performance by Sahko. My MOTM today, shortly followed by Henderson, Sterling and Suarez.
Sorry Agger, but you will not displace Sakho. Time to find the perfect RCB for Sakho in the coming transfer windows.
Absolute monster. Really enjoy watching this guy play and hopefully will continue to do so for the next 10 years.
It's great knowing that we finally have a physical presence in our defence. It's just a shame he doesn't have a partner or full backs who can support him.
I would like to see that but I don't think Rodgers will have that. It's a shame but I do think Agger will be sold in January or the summer.
Agger isn't good enough. Neither is Skrtel. We should be playing Sakho and Toure whilst looking for Sakho's long term partner.
Personally, I think the whole back line needs sorting bar Sakho. The fullbacks are simply not good enough and Sakho needs a partner.
Harsh, since Flanagan has come in he hasn't put a foot wrong in my opinion. Yes, he may not be a superstar, but he's defended well, attacked well all this on his unnatural side and he's a local lad.
Yeah I agree. I'm happy with Jose though who needs competition. Johnson needs to go. Interesting to see how far Flanno can go.
Very harsh IMO. Johnson is out of form so deserves a bit of stick but there aren't many better than a in-form Johnson in the league. Flanno has been superb since coming in. Enrique is only bettered by two other LBs in the league; Baines and Cole. Shaw is there too.
Defensively - he's been okay. Still beaten quite easily at times and Cardiff attacked him a lot today. Offensively - he doesn't offer much. Harsh I know considering he;s not a left back but I doubt he could provide a threat on the right hand side. He's a solid back up but if we want to be pushing onto the next levels, then both full backs needs replacing.
Trouble is Johnson has been out of form for about 3 years now. Just not worth £100k a week. I'd much rather us look abroad.
Johnson hasn't been in form for over a year. Even then, his strength is attacking. His defending is poor - he is prone to lapses in concentration and his defending at set pieces is poor. As stated above - Flanno has been ok. Enrique is a solid option who can attack and defend, but lacks game intelligence and also is prone to lapses in concentration, and is another liability at set pieces. If we want to push on, then we need smarter players who can keep the ball but also defend.
