    Team:

Davis - 7 Made good saves when called upon, think it was only about 3 ;)

Butterfield - 7 Again had a good game and looked very comfortable, a little shaky maybe once or twice

Fonte - 10 MOTM, Can't really think of anything he did wrong today, ran the lenghth of the pitch for the part in the first goal, and then scored the second. Very solid and excellent performance! <ok>

Hooiveld - 8 Again, very good, looked solid.

    Fox - 7 Had a good game.

Guly - 9 Was really impressed with him today, his covering was brilliant and when formation changed and he was put in the hole he did an excellent job <ok>

Hammond - 7 Looked good in the short amount of time he played!

Schneiderlin - 7 Looked good and covered the ground well, especially in the second half!

Lallana - 8 Had a terrific game and was a constant threat, good to see him get on the score sheet, shame he seemed to drop quite deep in the second half

Sharp - 8 Had a very good game and was constantly making runs and troubling the defence

Lambert - 8 We have all seen him play better and just thought he was a little unlucky at times today...

    Subs:

Cork - 8 Put in an excellent shift, would've prefferred to see him in the middle but he did just fine on the right

De Ridder - 7 Good shift, in a short amount of time

Puncheon - NA Not enough time to judge, just found him a little weak when going for challenges

    EXCELLENT SFC!!

...I'd be inclined to score them all 10 on a day like this (including the crowd)!!

All of them get a rating of 100/10 today. Even Steve, and he's ****.

Fonte worried me in the first 5-10 minutes and I thought he might have another one of those games, but then for the next 80 he was magnificent. What a run for that first goal as well!

IMHO Fox left a bit of space for Coventry to exploit, and Steve was just terrible.

Not taking anything away from the occasion of course...

Guly was man of the match for me. Covered a lot of ground and used the ball so intelligently. I reckon the PL will suit him.

My good mate Guly gets my vote for MOTM, closely followed by Jose and SUPER KELV (Kept us a clean sheet with his imperious performance).

Fonte's run was superb. It was a moment of inspiration the team needed to get us going I felt.

His runs forward are invaluable, create so much space and room for others and give us an attacking inspiration.

I thought Guly was outstanding today, as was Fonte. I want next season to start! We are Southampton, we're **** on TV (oops, meant to say we're premier league!)

Where do these people get these ratings for De Ridder?

He is the worst player on our books at the moment and I will not be surprised to see him sold in the summer.

The whole team were superb today so I will not score them for they all deserve top marks except Guly who was my man of the match.

Guly covered every inch of that pitch and he gets one more grade point than the rest.

You should give all your players a 10 & the manager & fans.. a fantastic effort from Saints this season, top 2 all the way, I actually think you should have been Champions but that's awarded on points. You've got to credit Reading for the efficiency. Saints were very classy.

Well the 'ammers never put the 4 past us they needed, in fact if it wasn't for the linesman's error we'd have got a 2-2, oh well changes nothing..

Best of luck in the PL! very much deserved.. :)

De Ridder, is a great impact sub to have.

Puncheon is the waste of space who doesn't deserve to be part of this club.
Regardless of whether NC let him back in or not!

Guly normall does my head in, but was simply outstanding today. Was impressive when on the right, but after Hammond came off and he moved central he was majestic. Him and Fonte class.

There are still some people giving Guly the same grade as De Ridder...
