Euros and World Cup are bigger than league football. Also, England is my one experience of supporting a half decent side.

Oh he’s miraculously recovered from injury the moment the window shuts <laugh>

Laughs aside, would love to have a fully committed Sulemana on one of our flanks this season, he could cause serious headaches for the rest of the league

I think anyone who signs for a team in a relegation battle and wants to leave 6 months later after they got relegated is a bit of a knob. He needs to earn a move.

Has Sulemana actually done anything wrong, apart from hearsay?

Because it sounds like he's being grouped in with the Salisu-ABK types, but he could have legitimately been injured. The club was quite specific about the type of injury iirc.

Yeah, I do think this, and he was back training before the window had closed.

    Not that I'm aware of.

He did say after relegation he would look at offers and if something attractive came up he'd be open to move - but he is probably just saying what all footballers are thinking!

Yeah at least he was honest. Che on the other hand gave it all, "I want to help the club get back to where it belongs", but then appeared pretty desperate to get out by the end (I still love him).

At no point has Sulemana made a fuss or anything, as far as I'm aware.

I will judge Sulemana from this point on. My instinct is he never expected to play for us again and was making no effort to be "fit", but I don't know that. He could be the answer to our right wing issues which would be massive.

One thing that worries me about Sulemana is can he play the passing posession game? Or rather can he operate and be effective when the opposition are sat back and compact? From his limited appearances in a Saints shirt to date he's seemed best when he's got space to run in to, more set up as a counter attacker. Can see him looking a bit like Amo Ameyaw when he started against QPR and better being brought off the bench to run at tired legs. Though we really need a RW starter so I hope that I'm wrong on that assumption.

Saints are front runners to sign Adeteye Gbadihan, 19 year old Brit-American CM. Apparently a lot of Prem interest.

    I'd say so, he's a unit.

I believe he was about to play a behind closed doors friendly for Sunderland, so clearly not.
