Taken on Friday night from beach at Holywell Bay, got a cracking picture of me and lad up on that rock from about 20 minutes prior to this too.

Spent three years at University in Falmouth.

Can't really remember a lot from that period of my life though, for some reason.

I remember a man coming round with a tray of hot pasties selling them door to door....with an alternative of hot roast chicken. Did a roaring trade.
I want a pasty now...but only a real one with lots of crispy pastry, not a limp fake that they sell round here.

I was in Greenwich yesterday, and just love walking around there. Go into the market and there is food stall after food stall. There, "Street Food" is big with lots of interesting possibilities. I thought the food looked exciting as you saw it being cooked, you could smell it. By contrast pub food looked too sterilised. I chose an Ethiopian dish. Later I went to the pier and discovered there was a big Food Fest of Latin America. Just imagine having all these interesting foods available at St Mary's on a matchday with Thai, Japanese, and Falafal from the Middle East available.from stalls outside the stadium. Jerk chicken!!!!

Why did you feel the need to tell me that? I'd already worked it out. But then every group needs one, so more power to your keyboard, mate.

I was encouraged to look at this forum by a fellow Saint who told me that the threads are rambling, mad and delightful. What was this thread meant to be about? Does anyone care?

I moved to Plymouth from London after the better half wanted to move back (she's a Janner). Best decision I've ever been made to make, lovely scenery, chilled out people (so long as you don't mention Jam, Cream and scones!), good food (Only the West Country would Thunder and Lightning be a thing) I love the area and can't see myself ever moving.

Someone sent me this over the weekend. Young travelling Americans [and one Russian] tasting Fish & Chips, in Cornwall, for the first time ever. They've obviously been about a bit because they're using most of the right slang, like 'pub' and 'chippy':

I think you could say they liked them.

When I was in Penzance about 20 years or so ago we actually had an Earthquake. It only lasted for a couple of seconds so not long enough to do any damage but it really was a strange feeling.Im guessing it was due to all the tin mining
