Well it certainly seems as if he knows a lot more about Saints these days than when we were playing in the Championship. Good, I'm glad to see he keeps an eye on the Club.
When he left us for Newcastle it was a good move for him....strange to see such a difference in fortunes all these years later. Oops....forgot his Blackburn spell.
Just to give people an advance warning for the Summer Rumour Thread, when we start it, that the mods have had a talk about this and there will no longer be any unsubstantiated rumours. If you have news of anything happening on the transfer front, you will be required to back it up with a published source. Just saying my mate down the road, or the bloke over at TSW, or even my mate who talks to the players at the gate, will not be enough. So that's my 'special source' gone. We are doing this to cut down on the unsubstantiated rubbish that pervades the rumour thread. Just saying, so take note. Summer Rumour thread will start end of April.
That's just ruined the transfer thread. Discussion of fantastical rumours is the main point. And you are assuming that someone on Sky or a journalist at the Sun knows more than your mate down the club or pub.
