How about the Board not wanting to sack another manager so quickly ( ed ) so they bring Hiddink in to “help” him til the end of the season?
Deano! Deano! Was thinking about that game this morning weirdly enough. Loved Deano. Really miss that team
@fatletiss Do you know this guy, from your footballing past - Gary White. Seems to know what he’s doing. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/16...ded_four_teams_to_their_highest_FIFA_ranking/
Hi st Badger Possibly. I played at Bognor Regis and looking at the dates he did, we overlapped. There was a young lad called Gary there that I remember, who went on to become a really good coach, but I can’t remember if his surname was White. I thought it was Norris, but I may be wrong. A couple of years back I read an article on an ex-Bognor Regis player who became a fully qualified coach and it could have been him. I’ll do some digging. Good to see him getting some link up with the FA and I’ll ask my mate about him as he also is fully qualified now and although a teacher, he also does some work with the FA on coaching. Thanks for the nudge.
His son's name is Flash Good article, never heard of him before but fair play to him! An impressive CV and has got to live in really interesting parts of the wold while doing so
Looked like a keeper with a lot of potential but as you say that one bad game really set him back. Wasn't it the 4-1 loss to Palace at home?
Yeah DTLW, I thought at the time WE treated him like sh*t. I would go so far to say we (Saints) actualy held him BACK in his devepment.
Bart should have played in the play-off second leg at derby. Kelvin was poor that night and on the previous 8 games or so, Bart had been brilliant in that end of season run-in.
