I have probably got more hair on top and around my chin than everyone on here put together. I earn a fair bit at Christmas in my red outfit giving presents to kids at parties and I don't need a false beard..
http://www.thehardtackle.com/news/2...outhampton-in-summer-pursuit-of-ben-brereton/ Saints supposedly looking at Ben Brereton of Forest.
Wonder why Hull aren't after him. He's linked to just about every other PL club, it seems. Someone needs to whisper in his ear that Southampton is a good place to develop. If he's a sensible lad he'll come. If he's not we don't want him.
They rarely learn though, do they? Go all starry eyed at the thought of Arsenal or United and not consider that they could be better at a club with a history of developing young players....and they'd probably still get a chance of another move later.
This amused me. Not the article itself, but the slideshow of "Saints weekly salaries". They all seem almost fair enough, except for the assertion that Maya is on £28k p/w and Jason McCarthy is on £40k a week. Were that to be true, I'd strongly suggest Maya gets Jason's agent on board! http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...aude-Puel-Dusan-Tadic-Tony-Pulis-Jordy-Clasie
I also seriously doubt that Florin Gardos is on more than Maya, or that Hesketh and Sims are better off than Jack Stephens!
I think Maya is probably, or at least will soon be, earning more than that. As for Stephens compared to those other two, despite his recent first team exposure he wasnt anywhere near the first team when that contract would have been signed. Whereas Hesketh and Sims have both signed contracts this year (I think) so that would explain it. Stephens will probably sign a new contract toward the end of the season
Stevens will be waiting to see if Wenger extends his stay at Arsenal before signing anything here surely. I'm sure Chambers has advised him.
