Hi all. Just thought I'd get your views on our game on Saturday. Should be an entertaining game with both teams playing attractive football. Hopefully we have a full squad available and can keep our recent good run going. There is a match thread on the Saints Board so gfeel free to pop across.

For you I heard a rumour that Haageland might be injured? Any truth in that? Good news for us if it's true.

Lamballana, cheers for the post. Hangeland is going to out I think but Amorebiata is very useful too.
I'll pop over and add thoughts to your match thread. I am hoping of 3 wins on the bounce but I have a feeling it won't be that simple.

I think your defensive record, letting in the least goals so far makes you favourites, so I'm hoping the Southampton players are thinking the points are in the bag, as except for the Palace game we've had problems in making and converting chances. But I'm also hoping the Palace win has given us more confidence. If the return of Stekelenberg can stabilise our defense then we might be able to make it a close game.

Whilst I would love to get three points from this game I would be over the moon with at least 1. Lamballana, have been very impressed with you guys this season. I feel we will struggle to get the ball forward much as it seems you press very quickly when the opposition have possession, we then tend to pass sideways and backwards. That said if we can provide Kasami with the chance who knows what he will do !! If we can get Dejagah back for this and put berbatov up top with Ruiz behind him we will cause you a few problems.

Anyway, all the best for the season and those European spots, unless of course we go on a winning streak and surge into a champions league spot?

Froggie. Ruiz is out I think or was it a late fitness test?

I have been hearing that "All of the Southampton players apart from the U11's have gone down will illness, the Prem League have said the game must still be played, Lawro now thinks we might still sneak a draw (poor away form etc etc)", I can't add anything else as I seem to have woken up, probably due to the shock of Larow's comment.

    But in reality:
I think we might get a point, but only if we play very well. Southampton have impressed me this year and a point for us home or away against them would be a good result.

Davis is a doubt for us but luckily we have James Ward-Prowse to bring in. His delivery could cause you problems if Haageland is out.

To be fair, Hangeland hasn't been much cop in the last few games, certainly from set pieces! Although that could be said of most of our defenders.

The partnership of Amorebieta and Senderos is working well. Hangeland was the weak link in previous games and culprit for letting the headers due to injury. As he is injured I expect us to start with them two.
