Not happy at all. Hoover had a good first season in the Premiership and was perfectly acceptable. I seem to recall that he kept Jose out of the starting line up for quite a while (or my memory might be shot - equally likely). His confidence took a hammering last season but he's not suddenly become worthless. Vin

Which is sort of why I ask the question. I don't actually know what I think a fair price for Jos is, should Burnley come back in for him tomorrow. We paid, what, £1m for him? And he proved himself to be an excellent Championship defender, and arguably a snip at that £1m fee.
