I ment in being more direct not the crap defence . If Koeman changes our style meaning we can hold onto a lead I am all for it. We played great football last season but the way we couldn't keep a lead pissed me off sometimes.
Loved last season, but I think we were all aware that something was missing. MP got them working hard and trying to storm to victory, but it didn't work often enough. May not be so exciting to watch this season, but I'm hopeful that Koeman can improve our defence. Of course we may not finish as high as 8th because last season was basically weird with such a gap in the middle, but I'm hopeful of 10th.
We have lost so may leads in the PL where as in the Championship once we went in front that was it. If we can learn how to hold a lead again and improve our conversion rate we cwn be better than last year. We wasted a hell of a lot of chances last season and Rickie and Lallana were more guilty than most.
Pissed me off too, but a large part of the reason we blew so many leads is that we had so many leads to blow. That's why I was really hoping (and still am, really) that Koeman largely continues with a similar style...I'd rather 8th with what-ifs about 5th than defending enough 1-0s to finish 12th.
