Was heartened by the good reports about Sagbo v Chelsea. Hoped he would do well. So when I watched the second half of the game again, I took particular note of him. Seems he had around ten touches of the ball and of those those for four of them he had a poor first touch. Had a couple of headers which went nowhere and took a stab at a shot at goal which was deflected. Not the sort of performance that would get him man of the match for City. Someone said he held the ball well, did not appear to be the case. Going to get panned for this but my guess is that NP would have done just as well??????

Thought Elmo was head and shoulders above everyone else in terms of impact on the game, always looked when he got he ball something was going to come of it (it would have been the case if someone could have got on the end of one of his crosses or if he could have directed them better).

I didn't see what everyone else saw in Sagbo either. He made a couple of daft flickons which inevitably went to Cech since no one was behind him but I don't remember him touching it apart from that.

I think it's relative, Sagbo just looked good compared to Graham. .
