Safe Standing moved a step closer - see article attached where we get a mention http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25526329 Good to see us at the forefront of all this.
Standing whether safe or otherwise was a fundamental part of English (and world come to that) football for many years and it should return. After the disasters at Ibrox, Heysel and Hillsborough it all changed for the worse and there was a knee jerk reaction. Seats were introduced where there had been standing areas previously, despite the fact that this was not the root cause of so many lives being lost needlessly.
I probably wont be using it now, i've got used to sitting. But it is a fundamental part of football culture and there is obviously a massive demand for it. the atmosphere is better too.. Yes from me.!!
can mods change my vote, pressed no by mistake!! Edit.....This is the last line in how to use the poll - ' Once you have voted in a poll, you will not be able to change your vote later, so place your vote carefully! ' Sorry R/andy none of us can change it..
Might bring some well missed atmosphere back to the grounds. Ideal for families with young kids to build our future fan base for when we are in the Prem.
I get very cramped while sat down, especially when the person in front leans back in their seat, a return of standing would eliminate this inconvienience.
