I play footie on a weekend here in Canada in the Masters league, and we have a big ex-pat community. Its generally cockney geezers but I tolerate them, (especially when its their round). Anyway, we get to see a lot of live games over here. The lads have been very impressed about SAFC over the last couple of months. In fact two of lads are Arsenal fans and they commented after our victory that they have never seen a team play so well and work so hard against their team. Its nice to see our team get some credit for the way they are playing, long may it continue..........
Dont live quite as far away as you horden (manchester) but we are def getting more attention even here. I think with oneil in charge we have gone past having a manager that "might" do well and now have one that "will" do wel! None of the clubs in the north west look forward to playing us, if their supporters comments are anything to go by, and oneil is integral to that!
No, we're not playing well. According to all the match commentators, in all of the 15 games since Marty took over, the opposing team have had an 'off' day.
Surprised at Sunderland's transformation since O'Neill Took over as manager at Sunderland. What do guys think of a "dream finish" for Sunderland? You are in 9th position so i presume a top 10 finish at the end of the season will be considered a good season for the club.
Well their name is heard of in my neck of the woods.... We are toying with the idea of sponsoring a local team, with the red n white stripes... Once i get the fooking gooner boss to agree.......which shouldn't be a problem, if i can land a new contract for us....
Now you're just talking stupid Syd, if we won the league we'd still only get 30 seconds at the end of MOTD. Go stand in the corner and give yourself a bollocking.
Hi mate, a top 10 finish will be brilliant considering the start we had and a trip to wembley will put the icing on the cake
