Like it or not the mags will always be a topic of debate with sunderland fans as we will be with mag fans. We want to see them fail as much as they want to see us fail so there will always be debates raised between fans of the two clubs.

Like I say Sombrero the odd piss take is nowt to get fussed about.

The constant drip drip drip of someone berating us does become wearing though.
And to take pleasure from being an irritant is even stranger.

At least with a good WUM there's usually good craic from both sides.

 

Very sad to see that once a very respected poster on this board and now a true deserter, tries to wind everyone up with an unnecessary and pointless thread. Perhaps these kind of threads are what are driving the real posters away (by the way I'm not one of them)

Newcastle's success would not make me miserable - Sunderland's failure would, by failure I mean not playing to their full potential or getting relegated.

Sorry if I'm bucking a trend however I don't want you to confuse my exasperation with a frequent poster with how I regard Newcastle or my love of the North East.

Syd - you identified that it was sad that the most popular articles on the Sunderland board were about Newcastle(or more accurately one of its fans) - I find it sadder that one of the most frequent posters on a Sunderland board is a Newcastle fan.

I appreciate what you are saying though - but when he was suspended the articles were much more Sunderland orientated and relatively peaceable.

Me, I have him set to ignore - I have invited him to discuss football matters via PM but no response.

Aye, this boards quietening down due to recent "activity". I'm sure the old poster will start drifting back in time, or at least using both. Can't beat a bit of cross board banter. Mind you, the black and whites will always win.
