    Moyes is ****e. Sack him.

Short is ****e. Sell the club you useless twat.

Whilst, one, both or neither maybe true, depends on your own opinions of either. Be careful what you wish for. I will use Villa as the latest example.

    .............

Aston Villa have sacked Roberto di Matteo as manager after just 124 days in the job.

Villa are now looking for their fifth boss inside a year after deciding to replace the Italian, who won just one of 11 Championship games in charge.

Former Chelsea player and manager Di Matteo, 46, was appointed shortly after Chinese businessman Dr Tony Xia took over Villa, on 2 June.

We really need to stop this cycle of failure we have been on for years now..The last one of course was not of our making.

If Moyes takes us down, as long as we show a bit of fight, then we should still keep him. Our team is a relegation side. Nowt much we can do about it.

I'd rather see us stick to our guns and drop now. I think going down and trying to come up properly is more healthy than the cycle we're on.

One of these years we're going to sack our manager and still go down.

That will leave us with a championship standard manager to get out of that death trap of a league.

Short's given us a decade in the top flight. We haven't kicked on but he's no devil. It just hasn't worked the way any of us would have liked... It hasn't been as bad as it could have been though.

The last bit sums it up. For those wanting rid of Short. What if we end up with a Dr. Tony?

Why go for that job? you might not get on with the boss. Don't buy that house, you might not get on with the neighbours. If everybody applied your logic we'd have a planet **** scared of change and progression.

But we are 10 years in the Prem. Yes its not going smoothly, but this season is early. We could get an Abramovich or a Sheik. But could also get a Tan or Dr. Tony.

They all have 2 things in common. Money and Ego's.

Well Short has Ego and money too, not sure what your point is there. We're more debt than when he took over 7-8 years ago and we've stood still. I'm just saying a new owner could help us to progress. Short is so poor we'd be very unlucky to get worse. We will go down sooner or later operating like we do, and in this state, we'll be away a very long time. Short may well quite easily deliver the situation you're trying to warn us against by finding a new buyer. It certainly looks on the cards. Shy away from progression and you don't progress. Yes it's risk, but it's a risk to keep the man.

We've got no choice anyway. Short will sell to who he wants when he's good and ready. .

Disagree. I think relegation, managed well could lead to a far more enjoyable season for our support than we're used to.

I think a lot need to fall back in love with the club. Losing every week isn't going to manage that.

That said... We'd be better off kicking on and getting to mid table mediocrity. That's just not happening. Relegation isn't the best we can hope for by any means but we need something to snap us out of our 17th placed rut.

I'd settle for 17th right now Disco.

    How sad is that?!!!!!

Mediocrity is next level for us at the minute.

If Short has a business plan it must be ingenious because I haven't got a bloody clue what he's trying to do with our club anymore.

I'd rather we invested in a spine than invested in relegation. It could be a decade before we return.

I'd much rather we do better than we have but it just feels like we need to get out of this seemingly endless chain of sacking managers and operating shrouded by relegation driven panic to do so. Genuinely thought Sam had managed it. That's the gutting part of it.

I'd take any break from it right now to be honest. Endless nightmare.

Give Moyes enough spends in Jan and he should keep us up, give us enough spends next Summer and he'll have us Mid table, back him again that winter window and cement us as Mid table squad, then tighten the purse strings for a few windows. That's how I'd approach it. Fact is we lack quality, give Moyes the funds to bring it in. We'll not progress unless we're given the chance. 5 years he claims he's been chasing Moyes. He needs to back him.

I think it could be worse than that. If we go down, Short could lose interest even more and there would be nothing to stop us ending up like Wednesday, Forest, or Leeds.

It could well be. On the present model there's more chance of that than us becoming a mid table Premier League side.

I agree. But until then, how long will some fans give him. Already some muttering sadly.

Moyes has been a bit hit and miss with his 2 biggest summer signings. One seems top notch, the other not so much. Injuries have ravaged an already weak squad. Crowd will get restless if results continue as they have. Hopefully Short has his ear phones in listening to Mozart for now.

I hope Short is listening to his Manager. Because it's the same noises all his predecessors made.

    On another note re: Sacking.

Francisco Guidolin has been sacked by Swansea with Bob Bradley expected to take over.
