Football nowadays takes no prisoners as the turn over of "managerial staff " is testimony and results as always have been the paramount consideration. in rugby you have the different coaches attack defense overall in football you have a goalie coach and usually manager/coach and mayb an assistant.. .. .. SOD was a miserable bastard that got us relegated, Steve Cotterell is a top man that got us promoted, he deserves support from top to bottom of our club well into 2016, sorry John but I am not going to vote.
There is no harm in getting in coaches as long as they follow the managers philosophy. It's a good idea but I don't know if sod is the right vote.

Sod wouldn't be fresh input. its old and stale input.. his day and way is over! Besides, he left this club under a cloud with many staff (and SL) saying what a difficult man he was to work with, so a waste of time discussing it!
Thought you might like to see these comments Banksy 1- Can't believe how so many fans dislike the bloke....he tried his best, worked his socks off behind the scenes...and brought JET here who so many adore. 2-Tried to do the right thing...but results weren't to be....Players were gutted when he went....as they knew it was down to so many individual errors that cost him his job.....Can't understand the hatred. 3-As miserable as his reign with us was he deserves credit for his signings. Fielding, Flint, Williams, Pack and JET (probably missed a couple as well.) 4-Have you ever spent 5 mins talking with SoD? If so, you'll know he's a passionate, dry witted, intelligent man willing to talk with a smile on his face. Journalists spoke to him after frustrating games, and asked the most idiotic questions...mainly ill thought out...and got the response they deserved. Ask the same questions to SC and you get the response you want....a load of football clichés not thought out....words just said to appease the masses and often contradictory. In Media terms....you got the Independent with SoD....you get a mix of Talk Sport and the Sun with SC. 5- Ask Louis Carey what he and the players felt about Sod the best coach they ever worked with and gutted when he left.

I don't post on there,unfortunately it is a lot busier on there so just copied and pasted some views for us to take a look at.
My experience is from actually talking to real people (staff etc at Ashton gate) who were always keen to offer their opinion of SOD without much prompting.. To a person they thought he was an arrogant cock. I've never met him and can only judge him by what matters, his results.. relegated without a whimper. (with so many excellent players you claim he brought here?) if his players were so good it must have ben his coaching that was so awful then! The worst period of watching Bristol City in 37 years for me, I would have walked away if he stayed any longer. absolute ****. SL as good as said he was a prick too but you decided to avoid that part!
