Grunting, moaning and panting is by far the best bit about women's tennis; I sometimes turn off the screen and just listen to those wonderful sounds over and over and over again......
Ive thought it should be banned too, they are still squealing by the time the ball gets to the opponent. There is no need for it except in the even of a big stretch or full length dive. My pet hate in tennis is that they have to check every ball before the serve in case theres a bit of fluff on it, this wastes so much time as well and its all in the players heads. It doesnt make any difference at all.
what bollox. maybe 10-15 years ago but not any longer. great game and the players have more integrity, sportsmanship etc than the overpaid, cheating egotists that plague the other sport i love. alt6hough i am a bit odd as my other sporting love is Speedway. Now that is a real sport
Although being a golfer, watching the game bores me ..... unless ..... it is the Ryder Cup. I will be glued. Gonna be close. Europe to win.
Should be a cracking few days of quality golf...a great end to a wonderful summer of sport. Way to close to call, the americans are a decent side and home advantage may help but the europeans are full of talented players and also several who have been at the business end of winning majors so this won't faze them. It will be compelling tv.
