Not everyones cup of tea of course but personally love the event and will watch too much over the weekend. Intriguing atmosphere and added to this time around with the re-emergence of the Tiger. What hes done for the sport is amazing. Its 6.30 Friday morning and about to kick off

It’s the only Golf I ever watch, I think watching it you have to be able to get behind someone and want them to win, obviously team Europe but away from the Ryder cup I have a real problem cheering anyone on.

I've got the joys of being able to watch all of it as I'm signed-off due to having an op yesterday (reattach tendons to elbow). Spieth is holing everything at the moment. He was -5 thru 7 holes.

I finished early today just in time to see the afternoon session at 3-1 down, excellent comeback although the Americans were playing poor.

My favourite, Mourinho's first PL game away on rainy midweek night (Boro?) wearing designer trench coat worth thousands, home fans:

Catching some early Saturday action. Cant stand fans cheering poor shots from the opposition. Sounds crap at any golf event

I find it very strange that the uk cant wait to dissasociate itself from Europe through Brexit but yet roaring their heads off for Europe in the Ryder Cup. Very strange indeed

No different to cheering an opposing striker missing a shot on goal? The Yanks give it as good when at home, the more the crowd get on their backs the better, it’s what home advantage is all about ;)

Any sport with fans and country v country will be noisey with a certain amount of unsporting shouting, golf is no different,if it wasn't like that wouldn't be worth watching.

It’s not worth watching now. Basically over today. Tomorrow will be a major non event. Sky won’t be happy after spending two years building the thing up
