Fair enough. COLIN would probably have beaten the sh*t teams and lost that run-in but the outcome might have been similar. Hughes did it the other way round but ultimately succeeded so credit must go to him to be fair. P.S. Surely MH is just trying to build a squad?? We're not going to have world class players on the bench, it has to be freebies with prem experience. Having a fit nelsen, dyer and Johnson on the bench (and I did say fit) would surely be better than hall, cook and hulse??
Don't start coming in here with your logic and realism. If our 25 man squad isn't full of young and hungry players who have bags of experience at this level and will play for peanuts then Hughes has to go.
Mmm this looks like a worrying trend.Three free transfers possibly on their way,are they being brought in to strengthen the squad or is it because Hughes is being given next to nothing to spend?I really hope it's not the latter because if it is,if we get a few injuries we are gonna be in deep trouble!
You could argue that Arsenal have got it wrong over the last 7 years , if they had a bit of experience in with the talented youth they might have won something. I believe you need both , Man utd have had this right for years . experience and youth .
well i am glad we have signed NZs highest paid sportsman should have done it last year he is still fit and will bring lots of stability to the back
