Doing well at Olympics, realistically will he get many or any games for us this season, especially if we get another CB in?At 34, you would think he would be used only in emergencies, but MHknows him well. Is he up to it for us?

Dunno. Unless we get some wonder CB, I've got a feeling we'll see a fair bit of him this season, injuries permitting.

I suspect you may well be right.

I'm convinced that a couple of games in after he has trained with us for a while he will be a starter, who to replace i don't know as for me Hill was better at CB than Ferdy last season.

Unless we dramatically change our defence for the the better all of a sudden I would not have our defence without Clint Hill in the middle. The rest can be built around him. He's immense!

What sort of pace does Nelsen have ?

Hill needs to have someone with a little more pace beside him.

I think the younger Ferdinand will be our most regular starting CB
Nelson and Hill may start fewer games to give each other a rest

Does Hill need a rest? It didn't look like it last season.
