Thought he said he hated playing on the left for Liverpool. Could we give him a run out in the middle? Not imo. Big powerful lad with pace, what MON likes, but others around who are better.
He'd play on the right. McLean - Catts - Seb - BABEL You're right though, there are better options, Hoilett being the obvious one.
MoNs Mush you know your football, have you seen much of Aubameyang at St Etienne, scored a few goals this season I see
Seen a fair bit of him mate, for me his touch isn't good enough for the Premier, Milan let him go without playing a game, I suspect for the same reasons. He doesn't look a natural finisher at all to be honest, I wouldn't be looking at him at all.
Was the quickest player at Liverpool when there so would fit in MON's style of play....not sure about him though, would like him on loan with an option to buy, could be class or a total flop
fair enough mate I have never seen the lad play and noticed he had scored a few goals. If thats the case and I believe it is as you have said it then I hope we aint looking at him. I aint seen much of the french league this season but a player who I love who I aint seen this season though as I have never caught one of there games is Toulouse's Etienne Capoue. A couple of season's a go I thought the lad was absolutely fantastic and I would still love to see him in our side, whats your take on him mate?

See for me hungry players only get you so far. While hungry players like Catts and Garnder are good I would like so flair who are hot and cold, but when they produce that piece of magic its awesome. Unfortunately we arn't going to get Messi who would produce it every game, but I would prefer flair. Also on a side note, every player should be hungry to win. I don't get players who don't look interested
Very good player, one of those who seems to been around for years, but he's still in his early 20's. He's very comfortable with the ball at his feet, that's not overly common in a holding player, i've even seen him pushed on a few times this, and Moussa Sissokho (another very good player) playing the more defensive side. Toulouse produce and develop a lot of very good players, whether we need another centre mid, probably not to be honest. If we were to lose Sess, I have 3 players in mind to replace him, interested in your thoughts Poolie. The long shot would be Mathieu Valbuena, could be that much bigger clubs look, but he's stalled a wee bit (as has the whole Marseille team), and they may need to sell as Europe is pretty much impossible now. Class feet, can finish, and he's a midget, a-la-Sess! Mathias Fernandez, Chilean, at Sporting, I actually love this lad. He's a beautiful footballer, makes stuff happen, can shoot, lovely control, and a really smart short passer. Would work well with a poacher (as he has at times with Van Wolfswinkel this season...) Most likely is Moses, who I think we will move for, and I think has the potential to be one of Englands finest, just needs to learn when to pass, when to shoot, and when to just hold it! Cracking talent though.
thanks for the update mate, personally I think for us to push on we need more vision and more technical ability in the central midfield. I can see Gardner going in the summer if a midlands club come in for him and I wouldn't be surprised to see Meyler go out onloan to get some game time if thats the case we should certainly go out and try and get Capoue. As for the other three I think it should be a case of adding one of them to our team with Sess in it rather than replacing Sess. Valbuena is class, I love the bloke and would be a massive signing if we could pull it off, he would be the pick of the three. Fernandez would also inject creativity into our side and as you point out makes things happen. As for Moses the worst out of the three but he is still a canny player, if we signed him I wouldn't complain.
well from what i have seen of him he looks like he has bulked out without losing pace and skill i tihnk he whould be great for us
MoN's mush I was going to ask you this before but forgot, with Bardsley the only right back at the club and with you watching a canny bit of Italian football from what you have said on here what do you think of Zuniga at Napoli. I have been very impressed with him in the champions league, can play both full back/wing back positions and could play on the wing as well. Do you rate the guy also do you think we could tempt him.
great player i dont think we can get him at all... also i might be wrong but does he not have a real temper problem???
connor wigham you along with MoNs Mush seem to know your footballers, I aint saying we should get all of these but these players would certainly improve us, what you think of them and would you take any (we have already spoken about some)? Camilo Zuniga (Napoli) Cheik M'Bengue (Toulouse) Beram Kayal (Celtic) Ryan Babel (Hoffenheim) Mirolslav Stoch (Fenerbahche) Issier Dia (Fenerbahche) Olivier Giroud (Montpellier) Etienne Capoue (Toulouse) Jonathan De Guzman (Villarreal)
thanks Connor Wigham would love any of them at the club but esp. the two lads from Toulouse, probs would cost around 12m for them both do you think? Capoue 8m, M'Bengue 4m
i agree i whould love to get some real talent to the club but remember MON has only ever got one player straigt from a foreign club
