I feel despite recent reports it is inevitable we will sell RVP. In contrast to my last article with regard to where do you think he will end up i was wondering what factors should be considered when selling him to a given team. Ideally of course we would sell him to a team abroad which is unfortunately seems to constitute just one club that is Juventus. Other possibilities are the two manchester clubs. It is however possible that the two manchester clubs would offer a higher price for our soon to be former striker. So exactly how much extra would you take from one of the two manchester clubs in order for them to entice a sale and out of the two manchester clubs who would you prefer to sell to. Before ruling out the possibilty of sale to a rival pl club you must consider rvp may very well refuse to move abroad considering his family are well settled here and the fact that the additional cash may well facilitate the signing of a transfer target of higher caliber. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11670/7908857/Arsenal-receive-RVP-offers-
According to this, he won't be sold. http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/premier-league/2012/07/17/3247736/arsenal-to-tell-van-persie-that-he-cannot-leave-club-this We'll see.
Maybe, maybe not. IF (big if) Arsenal believe that RVP has one year left at the top and then will not be able to bump someone out of the starting line up at a mega rich club, then IF (again big IF) they hold on to him and make it clear that they will deny him any opportunity to play for a top team this year, he may be willing to sign an improved contact with us. I mean he stands to get offered less than he gets at Arsenal after this year, or he can accept our deal, pass go, collect 5M and play for 3 years more. If he waits until next year he could be signed by QPR paying him 30K/week on a year to year contract.
