I know i may come across as pessimistic...though thats because i usually am! but if rvp leaves who would you like to see as his replacement. Heres a list of a few candidates though feel free to add your own.
    1) Falcao (really doubt this due to price tag)
    2) Olivier Giroud
    3) Robert Lewandowski
    4) Luuk De jong
    5) Fernando Llorente
    6) Matias Suarez (work permit provided)
    7) Andre Yarmalenko
    8) John Guidetti (we have been linked with him and doubt man city will have space for him)
    9) Gonzalo Higuain
    10) Cavani
    11) Lavezzi
    12) Roberto Soldado
Would have added the newcastle strikers but felt that would be disrespectful considering their achievements this season

  2. Falcao and Higuain are the only two that would really be even close to replacing RVP with equal quality.

I guess you have to look at it more in terms of losing RVP but gaining a Podolski- ? partnership which could be more effective.

Personally, I'm just desperate to see Poldi and RVP play together.

How about this? Torres? He seems to be unhappy right now, and if we sell RVP, we'd have money from that sale, as well as transfer kitty to be able to afford him, and at Arsenal he'd be guaranteed a starting place, and who knows, maybe under Wenger he'd be able to re-discover his form?

They're the players who are good enough and who would be available at the price you'd receive for RVP.

    Giroud or Higuain.

Giroud oozes class, and his style of play would suit Arsenal down to a T. 17 million buyout clause as well, would leave lots of money for someone else as well.

Higuain has an impeccable record of goal scoring, and seems to be out of favour at Madrid, don't know how he would adapt in England.

These guys would be awesome, but it's so unlikely as bigger fish will be after them. I wouldn't mind Giroud but he'd be more of a risk to replace RVP...but I guess he could share the load with Pod.

To be honest giroud will cost around £13mil john guidetti around 4mil and matias suarez around 12mil. If we sell rvp for around 30mil.i.dont see why we cant get all three

    Bolded the ones good enough IMO. But i have a few i could add;

    Alvaro Negredo
David Villa (reports of a fallout with Messi)
    Loic Remy
Klaas-jan Huntelaar (average player, prolific scorer)
