We sold about £19m worth of International talent and loaned a promising left back. Rick may be doing cartwheels but I think we have weakened ourselves.
I would rather be positive, but I have say this window, especially today, has been rather disappointing. The signing of Wildschut at the end helped a little but I wasn't crazy about him in the first place. We've lost one of our exciting signings from the summer in Canos. We have pocketed circa £12.5m and got some wages off the books. That's about the only good news. Will have to see how Dijks works out. He had better get up to speed in a hurry. It looks like AN had gentleman's agreement with Olsson, Brady, Canos: "If it doesn't look like we'll be promoted/you're not playing, I'll move you on in January."
Absolutely - Klose, Pinto, Howson and Oliveira still amongst us. Both Murphy's contracted till 2021. A decent looking replacement for Olsson in Dijks. Could have been a lot worse! Not seen much of Mr Wildschut but losing Brady and Canos and Jarvis spending more time on the physio bed than the wing, i'm glad he's on board.
When last did Brady score direct from a free kick???? IMO, I don't feel he's too much of a loss, as he's not really been delivering for us this season and. Pritchard may well get his chance. Fair comment
