A mate tells me that Jimmy Bullard's house has scaffolding on it - work being done...... I thought he may be getting work done in order to sell it, but my mate tells me he's heard rumours that JB and/or Ash have bought Admiral Hawke, in Hessle! Anyone heard anything about this?
If true then I can see there being problems. Not for Ash but that other imbecile. Many City fans despise what he did whilst at our club and I can see hotheads going round there to try and get pay back, you know what they are like!
This rumour's been doing the rounds for ages, probably over a year and I don't think Jimmy even has a place near here any more. Though I have seen Ash's missus car outside the Admiral.
I used to go out in Hessle quite a bit as a youngster, but I haven't been out there for a couple of decades, other than the odd visit to Jimmy's favourite haunt.
I'd have thought they'd have bought the Weir Bar, there is Bullard Burger's and Ashbee Burger's. Although I prefer plain.
It was Waggy's place for a while when Marlborough Club and although I did go in I was never a member, use to see Waggy chatting to people.
When new it was quite a swanky place and had a hit and miss reputation, but on an occasional visit they had some good music nights, not been in for a long while though.
