Cole just couldn’t handle ‘the beast’ and it was a penalty every time there was a scrum. I don’t know how much better Sinckler would have done, but he couldn’t have done much worse. As Eddie decided to take only two tight heads there was no other option.
Might as well just give a penalty rather than waste two minutes over setting and re-setting every scrum just to give a penalty. Odd sport.
