Once again brilliant yesterday - hope Mr Pearce was watching and decides to take a punt on him.

I can't believe how much he has grown as a player in the past season and a half. I have to hold my hand up and say that I didn't rate him as a replacement for FF but I am happy to say how wrong I was. My only worry now is whether or not we can keep hold of him in the summer!

A couple of those saves yesterday were absolutely top drawer, one from Rodellega he couldn't have seen till the last second!<ok>

He is as good as any other keeper in the PL and better than most, we are very lucky to have him and long may that continue!

Dont give a monkeys that he has not ben called up, he knows how good he is and so do we so who cares what England think, our national side is not a team for winners anyway!

It's the ultimate acid test of how useless England selection is that he hasn't been called up to England

We love him here, quality keeper!

Becoming a really good well rounded keeper. Excellent build, good shot stopping and increasingly good at taking crosses and commanding his area. Hard to believe he is still only 25!!!

Needs to work on his kicking IMO, bit Bosnich like at present.

There's only a couple of keepers in the PL that I would consider in front of him. Joe hart and Vorm of Swansea.

Couldn't agree more with most of the above, he was awsome yesterday. I too had my doubts about him at the beginning, but now has to be in the top three in the country. Big shout to the coaching staff as well, they've helped to make him what he is today.

Krul at Newcastle is the best in the business IMO in the Prem at the moment. But have to wholeheartedly agree that yesterdays performance was top drawer and the reason we finished with a lucky point. His kicking is not his strong point but if Ward keeps giving it to him on his wrong foot then what else can he do.

Must say, as a town fan credit where credit is due, Ruddy should be in the England set-up on current form. To me he has looked premiership class since your promotion (from what i have seen) and i reckon you might get some interest for him during the summer.

Do any of you guys think he has a good chance for your player of the season.

Ruddy is the player of the season so far but there is 25% of the season to go plenty of time for Holty to score another 10 and change my mind.

Ruddy's saves and class are why we are where we are

I see we are torn over the same two! <ok>

Head says Ruddy, heart says Holty!

He kept us in the game yesterday - his saves got us the vital point we didn't deserve. He's always been a good shot-stopper but now commands his area a lot better and is more confident coming for crosses.

I'll be voting for him ....

With the financial position much improved, I wonder if PL will look to bring in an experienced stand-by keeper next season, if only to allow Declan Rudd to go out on loan. As things stand, the opportunities for Rudd are very limited, and he surely needs regular first team football.

I don't see Holt as much competition for Ruddy apart from those who will vote for Holt just because he is Holt.

For consistency of performance over the whole season to date it has to be Ruddy much as I thnik Holty has been a brilliant leader for the squad and set such a great example by working his way back into the first 11 when many others would have whinged and had their bottom lips out.

he was excellent again. at the time, being in the barclay, i thought he'd spilled a couple of shots very easily and was having a bit of a 'mare - others around me thought as much too - but on reflection having seen them on motd2 i think he reacted as quickly as he could. got a little lucky but reactions were very sharp.

i know we played poorly but fair play to the boys - they dug in and won us a point - and it was a point gained rather than two dropped. we could so easily have lost that game but despite a few walking wounded with ten minutes to go, they managed to hang on.

carra, don't get me started on the booing. i'm not jeremy clarkson but if i were i'd be saying 'that anybody who booed our team off on sunday afternoon should be taken outside and shot by a firing squad in front of their families'.

*disclaimer: i really am not jeremy clarkson - wouldn't want people thinking that! <ok>
