It is a no brainer to get Ruddy back in against Reading.
Bunn has done well but as others have pointed out his height has been a dissadvantage & the deffence hasn't looked as solid at times as when the big man is behind them.
I can think of a few goals conceded when i thought Ruddy would have got that, the WBA corner when he was bundled in, & the Sunderland home game when he just didn't dive imo at full stretch to name but a couple.
But over all he's done a job, lets just hope now Ruddy's presence gets us over the line !

On the subject of Whittaker, I was very impressed with him against Arsenal, quite possibly my MOTM. Defensively solid, very comfortable in possession and good going forward. I previously thought we may need Garrido and another LB to sign this summer, but (and I know it's based on 1 performance), I now think we could get away with just signing Garrido on a perm.

According to Ruddy missus on Twitter, he won't be back for the Reading game.

Personally think Bunn should have a couple more games.

Yeah she deleted that tweet now. I don't think we'll see Ruddy in goal just yet, but we never know :)

There is the added bonus that if he doesn't play again this season, he will be less of a transfer target...I'm thinking Arsenal in particular.

Got to say I think he'd have stopped Reading's goal today. Looking forward to having him back, but Bunn is an excellent deputy.

Hope he's back for Stoke game, I know Bunn has improved from crosses but Ruddy dominates his box and collects so much better and that could really help

Quite agree, this is one of those situations where having Ruddy wouldn't have got us more points, but it quite probably would have made us feel a little more comfortable.
