Evil post have reported our finances today and we improving on that front. The previous year we made a loss of £3,423,576 and most of that money was down to the stadium costs. This years report ending June 30th 2012 showed a loss of just £353,000. Reason for the improving figures has been put down to trimming wage bill in order to align the club to the league 2 salary rules. The sell of Chris Lines to wednesday, TV money for the FA cup games vs Totton and Villa and the prize money received for getting to the 3rd round. Also the money received from southamptons promotion to the prem as there is a clause in Lamberts contract that got triggered for them winning promotion to the prem. Overall our debt now stands at just over £6.2 million which is down on the previous year by £917,882 which is very good. http://www.thisisbristol.co.uk/Bristol-Rovers-reduce-trading-losses/story-17493553-detail/story.html .
Doubt it Gas cuz I can't imagine many of the non league sides being 6 million in debt Might as well go bust and come back again as 2013ers, a bit like some other scum **** club has done
At this rate we're sleepwalking pygmies, not sleeping giants. And we're sleepwalking into the Conference....
