Has left the wage bill. Free up a bit more wage capacity and don't think anyone will particularly miss him. Never really got going here so fair enough he has moved on and will probably bang them in for fun in the Irish league.
In hindsight I expect thats the best we could of got.........at least a few months of not paying most of his wages until his contract ran out............at least that means we can now afford a tea lady and a new urn for her.
I thought when we signed him that he would do the business, he certainly had skill but was unable to do much with the ball. Once BWP left I expected him to shine but he didn't. Still another name off the wage books. I hate to say it but I actually miss Fallon more than Patterson.
Not that I don't believe he has left as it is on the BBC football website (Irish) but I cannot find a mention of it officially anywhere. Not on the transfers site nor is it on the PAFC site either. I find it strange that nowhere does it give this as official and not even the Herald.
Vital Football,Plymouth Argyle,20.29 Thursday,19th January 2019.........is the only mention that seems to confirm it sensible.
You were right sensible.......... to query Pattersons transfer..........it had been completed between the Irish clubs..........but was still in early talks with Argyle..........some websites had jumped the gun.
Ah well as long as he is off. Hopefully this would allow another loanee/free transfer Striker to come in. Hopefully a tall, powerful lad capable of holding off defenders and winning headers.
