Sean Longstaff at number 10 seems to be where Bruce see's him. Bournemouth away springs to mind as one of his better outings. Granted, last season he wasn't great but I do think he deserves another season to prove himself.

 

Patience is a virtue. I do not advocate writing off young lads after a handful of bad games. Same as it wasn’t right to get carried away with after 14 fantastic games. Undecided myself but I certainly think anyone writing him off, well let’s just say I’m glad they aren’t in charge of the comings and goings.

I will say though, he needs to get back to that early form pretty quick. Injuries too, he needs to start staying fit. I realise he picked up a bad one and never seemed to be fit again after, but I can’t be arsed with another Aarons. He looked excellent against Bournemouth. However so did Bentaleb. It was our best midfield performance of the season, the passing and movement between them and Shelvey was outstanding. It is there, he can do it, but we won’t have the luxury of him slowly finding a consistent good level. We have to be honest, he was as bad last season as he was good the previous one. Balls in his court.

 

This one still seems to be a bit odd on terms of the media claims..... Nobody over here is giving it any coverage at all despite claims its nearly done on Italy.

35m spent.. I doubt this one is going to happen

 

Rumour was we had 30-35M to spend. We’ve spent it. Nothing else now but loans unless some are sold but Ritchie the only one attracting any rumoured attention
