Rogers would be a brave choice. But he would have also apparently been Tottenham's choice, who are higher than us atm. If Rogers gets it, he has to be able and ready to handle the pressure.
Looks like someone on here got it spot on, when they thought the reason Rodgers wouldn’t be interviewed as he would not be part of a long drawn out process. He is really interested in the job now they are talking to him one to one according to the bbc. It’s starting to look like a two horse race
Why embarrasing? Liverpool are doing absolutely nothing wrong. It's the media and journo's who have NO CLUE what's going on but HAVE to find a story who are creating this media frenzy and mess. Not us. I'm perfectly happy for the board to interview several candidates and see who suits the club the best, in their eyes.
