    Born and grew up in a tiny corner shop in London, owned by the family, never really a fan of his, but Yentob's biography on Rod is well worth a watch. :emoticon-0148-yes:

    I think he's got a corporate box up there somewhere.

    I wouldn't have a go at the lad for wanting to be true to his roots.

    I'm doing it right now. I left years ago, but I'm proud of my roots.

    I've planted new roots and will never leave them, but my old roots still influence my life.

    He keeps in close touch with all his family and seems a very straight forward level headed bloke really. Quite a surprise when you think of his past, and he genuinely loves football, and women,<laugh> nowt much wrong with Rod the Mod.
